Rumor (wired, slashdot, scifi wire) has it that the beloved TV show Firefly is about to reborn as a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. Shiny! Of course, I'm a bit wary. Most games based on licensed properties invariably suck (like Matrix Online). But there is a sliver of hope. Maybe I'll actually have time to play this one when it comes out. Then again, probably not.

I've been following this story as well and I can see the appeal if done right. I am definitely looking forward to Warhammer Online and might have to pick up a PC just to play it. I am also disappointed that all the reviews for NWN2 suck. I am disappointed that Shadowrun was turned into a crappy FPS by Bungie who I still haven't forgiven for being bought by the evil empire, Marathon was one of my favorite games for the Mac.

Ahhh..... Bungie. I was never a huge Marathon fan but Myth and Myth II rocked my world.
I am totally looking forward to Warhammer Online. We'll see if Mythic can do it right (they are just down the street from me and hired a bunch of people I used to work with).
